We all know the great morning starting with a tea bag in a glass with boiling water and a few drops of milk, just to make it even better. Another idea of how to use a tea bag is to clean or mask small marks on wood floors. This technique will not be as good as refurbishing the surface but will bring great results and will not need redoing after you have cleaned your wood floors.
Start by putting a few drops of warm water on the tea bag, squeeze it a bit so that moisture goes through the bag thoroughly. Please be careful not to use too much water as this will wash away the colour from the tea leafs. By rubbing along and across the marked or scuffed area the the bag will release a bit of colour that will absorb into the wood. Using damp cloth you may clean the scuffs if the colour becomes too dark.
Using wood polish or simply Vaseline rub on top with dry cloth. Please be careful as the spot will remain slippery for longer if too much polish or oil has been used.
Clean or mop the floor and you will have it almost like new.
